Did half the fawcett track in the rain last week, Harvey-quindanning to driver road. Was a fun, but easy drive with mostly small to medium but not deep, water holes across the track and a few ruts, definitely a great place to start.
I stay away from the south side of the river in the wet (the other end of fawcetts) and I would recommend the same unless you have a 4" lifted cruiser on 35's or you love to punish your prado! I did that drive in May before the rain and we were going through dry ruts just about at bonnet height, you can imagine what it is like when those same ruts fill with water. If you want to do the full length and avoid the hardcore stuff just stick to the north side of the river.
Still yet to do the heritage trail but dwellingup fencelines is another good track to look for (don't know what the condition is though).
