Only necessary to have the switch inside the cabin if your ARB Comp is also running lockers, but be mindful also that the plastic mechs of the switch may not enjoy the heat under the bonnet and may deteriorate quicker than if it were inside

Im going to mount my switch in cabin, but im also going to set the compressor up so I don't have to open the bonnet to get to it too!

As much as it'd be handy for me to have an air line off the compressor setup outside the vehicle (on the bull bar or at the rear or the like), It's a good opportunity at the end of a drive offroad when airing up or even down before a run, to check things under the bonnet such as batt connections, leaks and a general look over..

Has anybody figured out how to mount the thumper under the bonnet or car of a 150 diesel. Some pics would be nice.

I fitted it in the second battery location and put the 2nd battery in the rear, works well for me

I did the same though I have an ARB compressor. Pics in the signature link if you are interested. If you have that space open it is easy.

Thanks for your posts. I have a dual battery system (2 x N70s) so I cant use this option or put the battery in the back as its used as a seven seater on the odd occasions.

here a post to where I mounted mine http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...l=1#post557184

FINALLY after weeks of mucking around, got my Thumper compressor mounted in a ARB 3rd battery tray. Despite all the time and effort it took, I'm pretty happy with it and its what I wanted
