Hi. I have a set fitted, I thought they were pretty solid, no rattles. Yes a bit of an effort opening and closing for the first few times nothing some WD40 couldn't fix. I also got the 120 wings and trimmed them down to suit.

            Hi Fido666
I made up a 2mm sheet metal plate to pick up the removed seats front anchor bolts and a 20mm RHS to pick up the rears.
I needed to shim up slightly with washers to stop the latches catching on the rear door sealing rubber.

I believe they made revisions to the snatch strap design following the recall last year.

Thanks Colin but what is meant by RHS? Don't suppose you took any pics of the bits you made up?

Yeah they would have to had to as they are still selling them but that doesn't really restore my confidence in their product

There's plenty of other options for recovery equipment, I got a full kit from Ray's Outdoors in a good bag for less than $200. Have only used the snatch strap from that kit so far, it didn't break.

No complaints with any of the other 4WD SupaCentre stuff I've purchased to date but I can't say I've tried their straps.

                    Hi Fido666,
RHS is Rolled Hollow Section, in other words it square hollow box so its 20mm by 20mm square made out of 2.6mm mild steel. No sorry no photos of the bits I made.
                    Colin

Here's a pic of the front sheet metal plate .

PS: The rear is secure by drilling through the top of the square tube and bolting down the bottom of the square tube then bolting the draws to the top of the square tube.
BTW the draws are 69 Kgs.

Hey Fido, did you check where the recovery kit from Ray's is made.. Bet it's made in China... Chances are, same place where 4x4 supa centre get theirs... Hard to find anything these days that's not made in China..

Hi Colin, if you used 25mm rhs, would that be enough for the latches to clear everything.. I pulled the rear seats out today, got to get some electrical work done, then put the Titan draws in, was going to do as you have done, thought 20mm would be enough, but might go 25mm, as you have said 20 ain't enough.. Another thing, what did you do at the very rear, were the draws open, with the wiring that runs across the rear of the car? Did you remove the white clips and stick carpet down? Looks like a nice neat finish you ended up with..
In regard to weight, don't think the draws are any heavier than the seats I removed... So works out well.. What did you do with the rear seat belts? I just unbolted the bottom, and feed it all up the top, just have the clip bit hanging out up the top.. Cheers Odog

Hi O Dog, Yes 25mm rhs would do the job and clear the door seal. I was working with what I had.
I left the wiring alone and glued a piece of carpet from the draws latch plate back to the rear door seal.
The draws weigh 69kgs and the seat from memory are around 50kgs.
Now what to do with the seat belts... this is very clever and not my idea at all I found it on this great forum posted my some one else (who I can not remember).
I put them back inside the plastic trim after wrapping them in some rag material and zip tying them to stop rattles.
                          see the pic.

Thanks Colin, like your idea with the seat belts, I still have the buckle sticking out.. By the look of your photos, you didn't use the mounting bars under the draws.. They were high enough with out using these? And to clear the fuel tank sender? Cheers Odog

                              Hi, O Dog,
Yes I did not use the original cross pieces. I wanted to get as low as possible (so I could access the fridge) and they were to low by them self's, so I used the 20mm RHS. The floor also has the raised section at the front where the original seats bolted into. Note: I did cut a slot in the bottom to allow the fuel sensor wiring to pass under the RHS.
                              Cheers
