Hah. Bring it on. I crossed the English Channel overnight in a Force 8/9 Gale (the Felixtowe-Zebrugge ferry route). Now I understand why the toilet doors are raised: A sea of sick washing left and right, left and right.

It's not the forward and back motion, or the sideways motion. It's the forward, left, back, right corkscrew motion thats the killer.

And that's just the contents of your stomach just prior to the eruption.

If you see the ship staff are stocking up the paper bag stands then you know it is going to be rough.

On the 24th September sailing and returning on the 17th October. I raced IOR (International Offshore Racing) for about 15 years so the roll doesn't worry me. Word of warning though if you are ok in the rock and roll stay away from citrus fruit the result is not good.

            See ya on Tassie, Richo.

So far for the 24th it looks like apart from ourselves, Richo, Bushy, Argee and Corigator will all be sailing that night.

We might need to devise a plan to meet either at the dock or on the boat. I know of at least one PP member who wants to catch up with me at the dock and would like to meet a few others if the option was there.

              Cheers Andrew

Can someone amend the first post to list all the dates and names in one place?

As a committee member of the GTG it is just part of the job.

Same. We leaving Syd on 19th with an o/n just outside Albury/Wodonga. Keep an eye out for a slightly harassed lookingfellow with three kids in a silver 120 GXL.

We set sail on the morning of the 21st and return on the evening of the 7th. We'll be hightailing the transit to/from home so we can squeeze the most from our time in Tassie.

                              Matt.
