If I get MT MTZ P3 265/70R/17 and leave it deflated will it fit under the factory spare wheel cover of a 2017 150 Prado? I carry a compressor full time, cheers.

My first post on Pradopoint! For those still interested I have fitted BFG KO2 265/70R/17. no problems. Tyre can just fit inside the spare wheel case at the rear. So no problems! I also fitted Black Rhino Warlord rims. Offset is perfectly flush with the body of the Prado. Gives an excellent look, and honestly, it gets lots of stares! working on building it up. 265/70/17 LT 121S Yokohama A/T GO15 cover will not fit and need the bracket spaced out by 3mm or more to prevent rubbing.
Fitted these to a set of 2018 GXL rims for touring and am impressed by how quiet they are, no difference in noise compared to the standard 18" Goodyears. They have excellent grip as well as I ran them on a recent trip out and around Innamincka. Not the most agressive tread around but for outback touring and sand work I find them excellent.
