  • Lost right hand indicator on trailer plug.

I have a issue with my trailer wiring and though I would ask you guru's before dropping it off to an Auto Sparky.

Ok, first of all I am an electrician so I was able to do a bit of investigation work, but wont start pulling the car wiring apart.

I have lost the right hand indicator on my trailer plug, there is no signal down the back of the car to the trailer.

The socket/plug in pic is mounted up in the LHS where the jack goes, this plug has a loom that comes off it and spits 2 ways, 1 goes to the back end of the car plug (which does the indicators, brakes ect on the rear of the vehicle), the other to the trailer plug (this is where the trailer loom plugs into)
There looks to be 2 sets of wires in here, 1 set goes to the back of the car, the other to the trailer plug... there are 2 green wires.

This is the loom plug that goes to the back of the vehicle, I have 12v flashing on the yellow (LHS indicator) and 12v flashing on the green (RHS indicator) to both earth and the white ground wire.
    The car indicators work 100%

This is the other plug that the top picture plug splits into, the trailer loom plug connects to this blue plug. I have 12v flashing on the yellow wire (LHS indicator) but the green (RHS indicator) it is dead.
The trailer LHS indicator works 100%. But on the RHS there is no signal at the trailer plug outside, or the trailer LOOM plug inside, I cannot get the "black box" off the ^ top picture to test if the trailer green wire has voltage at the rear.

I have checked all the fuses, including the not so "mystery" fuse in the 150's that is marked 'towing', does anyone know where the other end of this plug/socket goes in the front of the vehicle ?

It must surface somewhere before the fuse box as its a loom down the side of the vehicle ?

Am I missing an inline fuse somewhere ?

    Any help is much appreciated.
