What is the issue? Is it broken?

Hi, yes the switches that operate the windows are very brittle inside and have broken the plastic bit that push's the pins down that activate the windows..
I'm thinking I will buy a unit from the US and swap the buttons over if they fit, and if they don't I'm not scared about cutting the window part off and matting it up to my old base ( the white bit) and circuit board there are a number of these on ebay but they are for the US market and are left-hand drives !! and the window lock and door lock buttons are opposite the ours...
Once the unit turns up I will let you know how I got on, whether it is as easy as swapping buttons or I have to Frankenstein it...
        Cheers Greg

Try Amayama for new genuine unit if you can't find anything else.

              Well here is the up-date.....
The unit I bought on ebay just turned up, it took 10 minutes to flick the old switch buttons off the old unit and retro fit the new switch buttons off the new Left hand USA unit .... if you follow that .... anyway it worked and a cheap solution $ 70.00 NZD (instead of $378.00NZD for an original) well worth the wait due to the Christmas Courier delays .... I'm very happy

Hi all. I too am having a drama with my master window controller. 2005 model, the driver's window button is not working. There is power to the button but the window doesn't operate at all. Is there any easy solution or do I need to buy a new/used controller?
                Cheers guys.
