    Also kicks in if you hit the brakes twice in short succession. You don't even have to be hard on the brakes, just light pressure.

    Just seen your question.
    For memory it is just up under the dash panel by the steering wheel assembly.
    I will look tomorrow and confirm.

    I have had it happen 3 times. Once was with a extra large furry jumper, that stood up in the middle of the road between dusk and lights finally getting bright enough.
    Others were with vehicles that pulled into lane I was in without having room to pull into.

    You are right on the seatbelt taking out the wind.

    I spend 5 months of the year in ski resorts. I hate this stupid "safety feature" can you imagine the results on packed snow.
    In the dry the tyres squeal and all heads turn, makes me want to explain to the pedestrians that it's not my fault, it's designed to do that!!
