No that is not the map version please look at the bottom of the screen where you read that information, press "more" then content, scroll down to maps and you will see the map manufacturer and year.
I fear your maps will be the same outdated ones as everybody else has.

@cuda pleased to hear that you have your new Prado, I hope you wont need to navigate on any roads built in the last three years!

second edit, come back all I said my page that you have uploaded says Sept 2014 so very keen to hear what date your maps are.

Thank you both for posting, so your maps are only just over a year old. The photo shows no map manufacturer does it say HERE or any other map company anywhere else?
Also would you mind looking to see what it says on your micro sd cards please? mine looks like the above attachment.

Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures for me. This helps a lot, I can see that your maps do contain an estate built three years ago that is missing from my navigation. Also being able to compare the numbers on the cards gives me the information I need to pester Toyota to get me a more up to date version.

No luck whatsoever I am afraid, dealer says it is on order but they don't know when it will be delivered. Apparently it could be "months"
You can imagine I am still fuming about this, especially when I look on the European website where you can download free updates, just pick which part of Europe you need.
I have also written to NNG/iGO to see if they will sell me a map that is current, but still waiting for a response.

                        Hey,

Not trying to annoy anyone but this really is a first world problem, a new estate isn't on my GPS, really thats all you have to complain about? Ive got a Tom Tom, Garmin and inbuilt GPS in a Merc, and a 2 month old Commodore and they are all missing streets and estates in my area. 99% of the time they help me go all over Sydney and NSW. I don't think any of them are 100% acurate IMO. Interestingly when I bought the SS ute I threw out a 2007 UBD and it had the estate I live in shown even though it wasn't developed until 2011 and it isn't on any of the devices mentioned above - what that means I don't know but I do know where I live so I'm not stressing over it.

                        Cheers

No offence taken, I have posted before that this issue is trivial compared with many other people's problems.
However my points are that paying more than $60,000 for a brand new vehicle advertised as having navigation should not be sold with nearly three years out of date maps.
Also I am convinced that Toyota get away with this in Australia because they can. Other markets offer on line updates, some as mentioned above are free.
I find it annoying that the same iGO maps on my phone are up to date so why can't Toyota iGO maps be as well?

At least you've got GPS, I've got a 2015 GXL and I couldn't option it that's why I have a Tom Tom in it. I've looked at just pulling the stereo out and retro fitting something with gps but I don't think there's anything that will fit in due to the weird facia. Advanced ice do a module with hema maps but it's $1600 just to buy?

This is what I did http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...446#post529446.
Fits like it is inbuilt. The only thing is it does not have is over speed audio warning like my previous IGO.

Which month of 2015 was your Prado built? as at sometime in 2015 navigation became factory standard. I watched the advert on TV which was one of the reasons I went for a GXL. Everytime I see the same advert now I am ashamed to tell you that I shout at the TV!
If your car has the touch screen without nav then you can easily add an interface to run whatever you want on the screen. Phone, navigation unit etc. My Fujitsu Ten head unit with navigation has (I have been told) a video input removed to prevent adding an interface.
