  • what are these bolts ?

In the rear of my 120 VX are 6 silver bolts in the floor carpet between seat mounts and cargo barrier.
Are they OEM ?Any ideas what they hold ?

I don't think they are OEM, my 2003 Grande does not have anything like that, even under the carpet.

They're not OEM. Previous owner must have mounted something there and replaced the holes with bolts or there is something bolted undercarriage.

Just had a crawl under rear. .. couldn't see anything from underside.

Anyone know of captive nuts on that spot ?

They might be fixings for the support rod that the cargo barrier is attached to, or some other attachment point for some removed accessory.

There are enclosed channels in the floor, be careful if you remove the bolts not to lose contact with the hidden part in the channel. It will rattle!

I have had my carpet out and there are no captive nuts anywhere near there. Do you have a close up picture of the bolts and plate? It may help to give a better clue.

I'll get some better pics tomorrow.

I bought and fitted the cargo barrier, so nothing to do with the one I've got (can't rule out another brand though I guess).

The only mod i know of in the rear is Polyaire's but can't see anything tying the bolts and the polyaires together.

Is the carpet hard to lift? Any tips?

Are there any indentations in the carpet to suggest a set of drawers or roll cage installed previously?

Do you intend on using those bolts?

                Are the bolts bothering you?

No indents in rear. It is immaculate under the factory rubber mat.

Not overly bothering but could be useful for my storage system I'm in planning stages of .

They look like cargo barrier brackets to me... I used to sell and fit them. What brand barrier did you buy? They look like the same bolts and brackets from Ausguard barriers.......

                    Cheers

                      Cargo barrier bolts.

They are for when you lower the mid row seats and move barrier forwards I would suspect.
