In light of my recent struggle to find any factual and definitive instructions or information and for those who have or intend to purchase a Genuine Toyota second-hand cargo barrier. Contact me and I can email you the entire .pdf files, which unfortunately are too large to post on the forums. They are directly from Toyota Parts Division.
The fitting kit by itself is $363 (as of this date) retail from Toyota, making the Barrier worth $247 new. (I believe if you buy it separately it costs more though, the whole shebang is $600). So that should give you an idea of what to pay for the barrier itself. Many people who sell the barriers by itself do not sell it with the entire kit included as it is an arduous and time-consuming affair to remove it from the vehicle.
So if reading this post is in research prior to any purchase, then forewarned is forearmed. If you're reading this post-purchase (and hopefully you didn't pay too much for the barrier alone), then don't be too shocked by the cost of the kit, (that being said, the parts interpreter was a bit shocked), and it apparently takes around 2-3 hours to fit. Dependant on skill level I presume. There's a lot of components.
I hope this helps someone out.
