    2015 GTG Sponsors Products Reviews

Well it has now been 10 months since the end of the 2015 GTG so thought it would be good for those that attended and received products from the sponsors of the to give some feedback.

I was lucky enough to get a pair of sunglasses from Spotters and have to say they are the best sunglasses I have ever worn. They remove the glare and make the driving experience far better. With the polarised lens you can see right through the water making creek crossings safer.

I also picked up 5 litres of truck wash from Warwick Australia. This really gets under the dirt/mud and lifts it off when washing the Prado.

I have also been using Joes Place For Hair in Launceston for my hair cuts. (The feedback from Joes has been great and are very happy with the support they gave us to the return they have been getting)

So please share your thoughts and comments on what you were lucky enough to pick up.

I picked up an ARB recovery kit which is still in pristine condition. I dont normally go out with Nissans so haven't had to use it yet but it is a nice compact kit.
We wish we were a lot closer to both Ashgrove cheese and the Cherry Shed, 2spots we visited a couple of times for a load of supplies which almost made it back to the mainland. Their produce is a mile above just about anything we can get up here.
Devils corner Pinot was consumed by the carton while we were down there and well loved. Even picked up the odd bottle at Dan Murphy's in Toowoomba.
We had the Prado serviced by Launceston Toyota before we headed home, they were great, even Val commented on how well they communicated with us and their efficiency.
I have to say that i dont recall any sponsors products we wouldnt reccommend.

    Well how time does fly.
Utilized the very fast and efficient ARB Ezy deflator again on the week end.
However the Opposite Lock recovery gear remains pristine (like Ian's) and unused within its very handy carry bag.
The Inox products get used most weekends.
Brodie's Bear Grills Gerber multi tool is always on his belt when heading out of town and he wears his Tassie GTG 2015 hoody like a bikie wears his colours.
Everything is smelling sweet thanks to the Pure sense candles and air fresheners.
Also loving my Tas Chainsaws & Mowers, Hydro Tasmania, Spotters, Launceston Toyota Caps.
    Cheers

I forgot to mention Devils Corner wine as it has become a staple product in the house.
INOX is always being used in the both the garage and in the back of the Prado ready for use.
Rhino Rack t-shirt worn most weekends.
Have visited the Cherry Shed and Spreyton Cider quite a few times with friends.
Launceston Toyota look after the Prado and have comment quite a bit on the support shown by the Prado's that attended the GTG.

The Coleman camp chair is great when I get to use it cause that was the wifes pick. ARB king sleeping bag is huge and very very warm. The only thing I haven't cracked open is the Autoglm 3-pack of car care stuff as the Prado only usually gets a wash with ct18 when I get back from a drive. Again the plethora of inox cans are always used, the hardest choice being which one to grab. The Hema Tassie maps was invaluable while we were there & have now passed it onto Mum & Dad to plan their sep/oct trip. Spotters hats get worn most days at work & Tassie hydro beanies now its cooling down. My girls still have their nametags & occasionally wear them round.
I was surprised by how much merchandise was given away, donanated by the sponsors. The support was amazing.
The event was extremely well organised so again big ups to all the committee, especially Vaughan & Kristy. Our family still talk about this trip all the time
    Cheers Matt
