Having said that, you need not deal with Ironman if you got Whitey to supply your custom shocks and springs and then you'd realise that the performance + quality > $.

      There only coming out when

" whitey lines me up against an FJ that is running his Ironman setup. This will involve an urban obstacle testing course, hard edged gutters, median strips, Speedbumps ".

Have done a lot of 4wding with a few different set ups from a SWB70 to a extensively modified 79 and now a 150.
I have used there gear in the past, I have done a lot of trips with people using there gear, and I don't think much of there products, there is every chance the custom valving is ace, hopefully some of the people running them really put them too good use and they go the mile too

You need 35's to compete with an Ironman setup, but you don't rate their products. I'm confused.

Yes when we race our urban obstacle testing course I'll definetly need 35s to come anywhere close to competing with these shocks

And correct actaully using 4wds for 4wding I Don't Rate there gear.....

Seriously though, I'm not a big fan of Ironman "gear" either. However, trying to convince others that the foam cell pro shocks are no good purely because you don't rate their other products is a waste of time.
There are plenty of real 4WDrivers that have great things to say about those shocks after using them in the real world. Yes, other people drive off road too.
FWIW, When you have zero experience with a product, then impart negative comments about it, your posts appear as pretentious rants. Just sayin'

I’m looking to purchase a 2018 Prado and currently researching suspension so looking for some feedback.

I’ve current got OME on my 120 series and they’ve been fantastic. However, I’m thinking about the BP51’s.

Does anyone have the BP51’s and are they really that much better to justify the additional cost?

We do a variety of 4x4 work - beach, dirt roads, hilly climbing work. Want to do Cape York and then Simpson’s particularly over next 12 to 18 months.
2009 Prado 120 D4D, Silver, ARB Deluxe Winch Bar, IPFXS, Safari snorkel, diff breathers, OME, GME UHF, Warn Winch, ARB portable compressor, OEM Towbar, Tekonsha brake controller, tinted windows

                      Just reread your first post.
Go with C59-352 & C59-327 coils & depending on the towball weight you may need airbags.
Be aware the 24-173032-1 only has one useable groove.
When I sell these shocks I supply them with 3 extra grooves.

Prado suspensions is pretty easy to install yourself. There is thread in the 120 section & I offer day or night phone support for my customers.
                      Cheers
                      Hey Zordo,
Any idea where i can get one of these suspension combos online or in Sydney/South coast NSW?
Or should i just buy each component directly from Bilstein/Dobinson?
2017 D-4D GXL, ARB summit bar, no winch (yet), Steel roof rack, Aux Batt in rear with Drifta draws. Not Towing (yet)
                      Thanks in Advance

                          • Zordo is awesome, just got upgrade from him, dobsons/bilsteins, couldn't be happier

                            • Only problem is there is no stock of Zordo Bilsteins until June. Any other recommendations in their place? A lot of the research here relates to Bilsteins that are either no longer available or mismatched. How about cheap foam cells by ArchM?
