We have just finished a very hard 14,000 trip including the Savannah Way in NT from Burketown to Roper Bar, right along the bottom of the Gulf.
The corrugations and bull dusts holes were atrocious and we have a legacy of a thudding sort rattle in the area around the tailgate latch on the left side.
Our beaut car has 70,000 kms and was as tight as a drum prior to the trip.
Is there history of this type damage, is the adjustment easy or is the wedge that seems to be the main component in holding everything in place readily replaceable?
