    Toyo AT2 has a 2 ply sidewall unlike BFG whichs are 3 ply side walls. 2 ply can flex better than a 3 ply but a 3 ply can hold more load than a 2ply.

        I'm in a dilemma, - I need 5. I've got about 5k (easy) left on my BFG's (at nearly90k)
        But I love free stuff, got one of these compressors already, 4 years never missed a beat.
        I know I will be needing rubber for planned long trips early next year (may take that long to use 5k as well)

        Ummmm...Buy & not fit ? to get a new compressor, - wait & get later (hopefully get 10% cheaper at Bob's)

        All works out "about" the same (not quite).....Ahh, I need help to make a decision for me.
        SWMBO just says - your car, your choice....that is dangerous ground.

          My mate (ex PP member) manages the tyre shop I bought them from and he fitted & balanced them. They all balanced up to 0:0 with minimum weights. I commented on the lack of weights, less than what was on my KOs, he said sometimes you get lucky.

          I prefer clip on weights as you can get a better balance and it is easier to get them to 0:0 as the weight is on the edges of the rim and not on the inside.

            My Tyrepower dealer said he can only do them for $365 each, that's $15 more than BJane quoted. He told me that any cheaper than that and they are old stock tyres..oh well will put it off for a while don't really need a compressor.

              I think he's talking crap, mine are stamped 2316, which is week 23 year 2016, that would be the first week of June this year...

                      I always wondered why 121 would be better than 112 - I mean 112 have load rating of 1100kg per tyre or so and since our GVM cannot exceed 3000 that should be more than enough? I might be missing something?

                        The load rating isn't just for static weight. It is for dynamic weight as well and those times when you lift the tyre off the ground. A 121 load rated tyre has more plies and is usually less prone to punctures and staking due to stronger sidewalls, etc.

                          Cheers Andrew Mine are 121/118S - I thought BFG LT rated tyres are the all 121 anyway - you learn something everyday
