I installed a 120w flexible solar panel and the folding mirror module.

I had ordered two panels from SunGold (www.sungoldsolar.com). Originally, they advised the 110w version would fit my dimensions, but later told me they changed their cells and i could have 120w for the same footprint.

I sent SunGold an outline of how i was going to mount along with tollerances and they agreed to put rivets into the panel

I installed some Rhino Rack eyelets to secure any load before fitting the panel.

Marking out the holes for the panel was easy, drilling, not so with the structure of the platform material.
I've just installed 4 of the bolts to check everything is ok before doing any more

The panels are pretty discrete from the side

More pictures to come of the wiring and connections.

I also connected a folding mirror module.
The instructions on here (link), though a little fragmented were excellent. Thanks Colin (post #110) and Cortez (post #45).

Removing the side panel made it easy to push out the front panel with the wing mirror switches

Removing the connector from the back of the wing mirror switch, you just plug in the module.
The module, i cable tied to inside of the side panel (see pic above)

Removing the panel running along the foot of the drivers door and then the panel to the right of the accelerator pedal revealed the connectors you can tap into. It was simple to find the top black connector block and find the blue (lock) and green (unlock) cables next to the fat white cable. You can also see the larger red cable in the next connector down i used for power.

      Worked straight away. Lovely.

I went with a Victron BlueSolar MPPT 75/15 which for the initial 220W would be right on the limit and with the 2 x 120w would be slightly overloaded.

Based on the current charging ability of the solar panels, it looks like the 75/15 will be fine as the maximum i've seen is 5a.
It looks like with no other load it's charging the batteries nicely

              I have v Victron BlueSolar MPPT 75/15 - max 75v input / 15A output (link)
I also brought the Victron VE.Direct Bluetooth dongle (link)

The app connects to the Victron VE.Direct Bluetooth dongle, which plugs into the MPPT controller and shows the current readings as well as the last 30 days.

                  Rose has a snorkel.

Yesterday, i got a Safari snorkel fitted by Opposite Lock in Balcatta. I was too chicken to do it myself.

Driving home along the freeway, there was no apparent additional wind noise.

Fitted AMTS' compressor/fuel filter mount with an ARB high output compressor.
Very nicely manufactured. Some of the steps were a little off, but easy enough to work out.
The connector is easily accessible and easy to connect/disconnect.

The mount just fitted along the cables i'd run from my dual battery system (in the grey conduit)

The excess compressor cables tucked into the mount next to the relay.

Just watch the temps having the compressor mounted under bonnet especially on the new 2.8l.
I did have mine there but got hot that coulndt touch it after pumping 4 tyres 15psi in each.
I moved mine to inside the cab above the left hand wheel arch fits perfectly and is in the a/c

This morning i installed Tin's excellent 30l water tank (Link)

Setup the tank. As per instructions, pay attention to the line that says the banjo connectors don't need to be torqued up, or you'll do as i did and break one!

Void between fuel tank and towbar assembly

Cable tied the breathers to the fuel tank mounts.

Mounting plates fitted to the towbar assembly mounting bolts

View of the fitted water tank from the r/h side

Underside view of tap and mounting

Close up of tap and also a view that the water tank fits flush with the towbar assembly

The mod is only noticieable because of the hose connector from the rear

Just had ARB install their Summit bull bar along with 2 recovery points installed

The recovery points look very robust

Next up, install the STEDI fog lights

Love the summit bar. So tough. STEDI fogs are cool AF too. Let us know how you go with the electrical connectors. I wasn't happy with them at all.

Installed the STEDI foglights for the ARB Summit bull bar
STEDI's instructions (link) are not that good and assume you're replacing the ARB ones.

When the foglights arrive, you need to assemble the adjuster screw

The foglight power cables should be dangling somewhere

I soldered and taped the DRL feed onto the red Summit bullbar DRL feed and kept the cables tucked into the protective sheath

All tidied up with cable ties

                                DRL's working

Unfortunately, only one of the foglights worked (should have doubled checked before final assembly).

The connectors for the small extension/adapter (?) were quite poor - .

The retaining clip did not engage with the socket

It was very hard to fully engage the connector (see brown section which should be enclosed

One of the retaining clips was broken

I have fedback my issues to STEDI.

Waiting for the ARB fog lens covers which are on back order.
