    Its not a hard job really to pump it in via the filler. You need to get under there to check the level of the pan when you are finished anyway. You will be amazed how much you loose just with a spill here and a rag there. I was careful to measure everything that came out, and went back in, and I still had to put 400ml in at the end.

    I did mine last weekend. I took a photo of the part numbers for the seal, filter and the 2 crush washers for the drain and level checker.

    My pan was fairly clean and so were the magnets, I was pretty happy. Though still gave it a good clean and degrease.

      Don't forget, make sure you check the level at temp. Between 46 Degrees and 56 Degrees. If you don't have a scan gauge to see temp, you can jump pins 4 and 13, start car, go D to N about 8 times quickly, 1 sec in each gear. You will see the A/T Temp light flash twice. After this, it will then light up when its in the temp range, and flash when over the temp range.

        The drum pump is 17 pumps to a litre so I should be able to pump in new fluid as the old is coming out with the engine running.
        Mate the trans pumps the fluid QUICKLY - I don't think you'd have a hope of keeping up if you're talking 17 pumps for only 1 litre.

          I'll sus it out. I don't remember it pumping very quickly last time I flushed it. I think it took around 45 seconds to pump out 2L. You have a point about pumping 34 times to get 2L in while draining 2L out.

          Worst case I'll shut the engine off then top up using the return line. It will much cleaner and easier that trying to use a hand pump. In the past I've used the cheap pumps for outboard motor gear case filling. It takes ages to pump 1L.

            It's been a few years since I did it but I would have guessed 2L in 20 seconds or less!

              I can confirm it pumps really quickly. There is no way you could pump it back in at the same time manually.

              I did it in 2L at a time.

                I've just done it today, the pump is pretty slow but it does the work eventually
                12 l Penrite ATF FS total.

                  Flush come out pretty dark at the beginning but starts to getting redish color after 8l

                    Can anyone confirm which is the return line out of the radiator? TOP or BOTTOM?
