Back door lock replacement

Hi there,
Has anyone got advice on back door lock replacement or servicing. Mine needs a good hard push to latch properly. Its ex-mine and probably full of dust.

Is the door in adjustment properly?
You can always try cleaning it out with some solvent and compressed air. Without removing it. (If that's the issue).
It will need a bit of lubricant afterwards however as solvent will wash it all out.

I'd be interested in reply to this post. Just finishing a 2mnth trip on Canning, Kimberley, Cobourg etc & now find that the back door needs a gentle push inwards & at the same time I pull the rear door handle. I can see that some of the plastic in the rear door lock mechanism has pulled away. I imagine I need to replace the lock mechanism. Has anyone done this or know of a simpler repair ie can you adjust the lock mechanism to compensate for the lost plastic, or is the plastic piece simple to replace?

Before you do anything, check the driver side of the rear door to see if there are any cracks at the seam in the door.
Seam cracks and dodgy hinges seem to be a common problem with getting the door to shut smoothly.

Thanks Tez1 .. yes ive already had that problem & had the split welded up at a panel beater
