Are there any hunters who carry firearms securely in their 150's?
I am looking at placing my registered firearms securely in a locked keyed drawer in the back of my VX. As the distance from the 2nd row seats to the rear of the vehicle is quite short, I am unable to fit them in (vertically).
The only option I can see is the drawers being placed horizontally, which means it would fit between the wheel arches. The distance between the wheel arches is 1100mm. Considering an lockable cabinet is made and taking into account the thickness of the material, this would still come in short.
The longest at a minimum would be 1150-1200mm secure cabinet.
Keeping in mind I need to keep my portable fridge/freezer attached also.
I would like to keep the 2 rear 3rd row seats and perhaps place the lockable drawer towards the rear entrance just before the wheel arches!
Any suggestions.
Cheers.
