Hi, has anyone fitted a torque convertor lock up kit on a 2.8 auto yet? I see a mob in SA has them as well as a 200 series kit, any comments would be great.

Mine is driving me crazy, it locks up at 70 km which makes it resonate thru the vehicle, i have been to Toyota and they dont care, its normal they say??? WTF! wishing i had my 3.0 120 back.
Lockup should only be over 1500rpm to prevent this! -
Hey Retro, I've heard they are like that (haven't picked ours up yet) old man has a 200 series thats not real good either (won't hold top gear). Its for the missus, or id would of got a manual!
