      Hey,

      They are Blackhawk arms from Roadsafe. With their new ball joint you'll get them drooping to 580mm open length, and you'll get around 3deg of caster out of them.

        Have you used them or just reiterating the add ? Not being a smart ass but that info was already available.

          I have them on my FJ; they are great. With a 65 mm lift the improvement in drivability and handling is night and day compared to OEM (and the ~1 deg of caster that was possible). A friend got 4 deg caster from those arms because he needed to move his (larger) tyres off the body mount as he was getting a little scrubbing.

          The issue is getting the *new* ball joint, unless you refit the OEM joints. I figured out in December the standard ball joint they supplied limited droop. They promised to send me 'new' ones when they came in stock that offered OEM equivalent motion. I havent yet received these.

            Hey,

            Didn't even read the ebay dribble. I did just read it and can guarantee you it doesn't mention drooping to 580mm anywhere.

            The first gen Roadsafe ball joint didn't droop enough as I discovered on a mates FJ. Put 75deg included angle Moogs in and they drooped to 580mm, perfect for the 575mm open length Bilstein struts he runs.

            This info was all relayed to Roadsafe, so it's no surprise to see their latest ball joint has 74deg included angle, so I would say they still droop very close to 580mm. Have not yet played with the latest version, but I'm assuming they'll be near 580mm at full droop.

            My mate has 2.8deg caster in his FJ (identical IFS to 150) and still runs decent camber, so yes they can be milked up to around 3deg caster if you trim the camber back a little.

            I have not yet met a manufacturer of upper arms who knows what open length they droop to.

            I get my own technical information by actually measuring the suspension geometry, I don't reiterate dribble from ads.

              I was in contact with Troy from Roadsafe. They dont have their extended angle balljoints yet - he said next month. If you buy them you might need to press in the OEM ones if you have >570 mm
