had a bit of a search, but couldn't find an answer to my question - found a lot of other 1KZTE boost threads though!
I've got an '05 120 GXL with the 1KZTE engine and have recently fitted a 2.75" exhaust with a Advance Headers dump as I'm chasing a bit more mid range grunt. I know these things are no rocket ship & the exhaust has definitely made a difference. I got the exhaust bloke to fit a EGT gauge probe at the same time (post turbo). On the weekend I fitted the EGT gauge & boost gauge & took it for a spin up the highway. Boost seems to peak at around 10psi & the EGT sits at around 375 deg C at a steady speed. I was surprised at how high the boost sits at 110kph - 9psi on flat ground with just me in the car. Is this normal?
