              Kev,
I am not an electrician, but wiring is fairly basic.
Red wire to battery positive, black wire to negative battery.
Light screwed or bolted to steel.
If you google videos for wiring up spot lights etc you will get a mass of videos to watch....

As Below said However I am an electrician/technician, and its certainly not rocket science.
Red is positive.. You can usually ground thru Chassis/brackets etc. Otherwise run a Black to a Ground (Negative).
Fuse your feeds to your power source, then run them thru a switch. If you have a good ground or chassis mount, a single wire is all that's needed.

You need to factor in a lot of people probably don't live in Sydney, and your OP was pretty scarce on info..
For all anyone knew you wanted a twin dipthermal coupletec 3000 modulating valve or a chip it module wired up.. And we know no one will touch a Chip It module.. Especially on someone else's car.

"Helpees" will understand me when i say: You also then get that issue where you turn up to help someone and half the gears missing, as they have no idea what they need or need to do. So it turns into a CF trying to help someone out. Not saying that nasty but the "helpees" have all been there were it turns to Sh!te before.

If you'd posted it was just a few lights to be added, Id say you'd have more replies..

Having a go and saying the site doesn't cater to newbies or offer help is way off the mark IMO.. (Today alone I've read a couple new posts where newbies are thankful the site and its posters have saved them money and time.)

Sorry we couldn't all jump when whistled.
You know, we all have F-all to do with our lives other than wait for calls for help.

Thanks for coming, don't let the door..... etc.

                        Electrial help needed

Would you like me to close your username up for you?

It's funny that today (6 hours ago) you posted up the info that you were wanting to wire up lights. You've not said that before.
And Lo and behold the answers and links come rolling in within hours.

What this really comes down to is a lack of information in the original post. Meaning a lack of answers.

Best of luck out in the wide world of the web.
