This is my first post so please go easy on me. I have read some of the FAQs including the common issues to lookout for when buying a 150 series.
I inspected a 2009 150 series Diesel Prado over the weekend. It had done 180,000KMs. The first 120,000 to 140,000 had been clocked up really quickly. There were many log book entries with 10,000 to 11,000Kms done within 2 to 3 months.
This is the first Prado which I have properly inspected. I am quite familiar with petrol family cars but have no clue about Diesels or 4x4.
Can you please give me an idea if this is normal? My main concern is the oil under the engine.

When looking at the engine with the bonnet open, the bottom area seemed like it had a bit of rust on it. Is this normal for a vehicle like this?
