Same as brundah01, i got a set of Denso injectors and pipes from #### and swapped them out at 128k. Got the EGR and manifold cleaned at the same time plus cleaned the oil pickup and sump then fitted a full EGR block.
I'm now on my second oil change since the work and with 2,200km on the oil it's still clear like honey. No rattles, improved fuel economy and it runs so smooth it's like it just come off the showroom floor.
If you are going to do this job yourself, i'd do it exactly as #### recommends he's probably done more of these D4D injector/egr jobs then most Toyo mechanics have had hot dinners.2007 120 GXL D4D 6sp Man - My Rig https://www.pradopoint.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=24945&d=1487341201

Yeah. It would be good if #### was a book, so i didnt have to keep annoying him.
Where do you spray the liqui moly decarb in?
Remove rubber hose from throttle side of intercooler and feed the hose all the way past the throttle, egr valve and into the manifold?
Or just unleash half a can it the intercooler pipe and let it make its own way in.
Id hate to melt the hose or lose the plastic spray nozzle down there.
I never thought maintaining my first diesel would require another apprenticeship.

Same engine, different vehicle.
Different engine mounting position.
Different cowl around wipers.
Toyota procedure by the book is correct.
Working around it is not the best way.
So no not exactly the same.
Cheers.
Cheers

Cleaned down to the elbow, 7mm block fitted, provent catch can fitted, fuelmanager 2 micron final filter fitted. Took me 6 hours.
Does anyone know suggested replacement intervals for the fuel manager filters?
I change mine when I do the other fuel filters
Just check while you are at home that you can undo the collar holding it, they can be done up super tight at the factory and be very hard to undo
