Hello all
Need some advice. My 21 year old son had an accident in his 4wd the Gnangara Pine area tracks. Looks like he was not at fault. He was driving through an 4 way intersection at a slow speed (20km/h) and a P plate driver in another 4wd travelling across that intersection failed to give way to his right going through the intersection hitting my sons 4wd near the frt roo bar on the left/passenger side.. Caused about $600 damage.
Both tracks do not appear to be named but are open to and used by the public like many of those tracks in there. Both vehicles are insured. Photos and details were taken. The driver of the other vehicle apologised for the accident.
Do the normal road rules apply in this case in regards to who is at fault?? Will my son have a case to avoid insurance policy excesses.
