    Some code readers. Including a snap on I own don't show all the codes.

      They are. However in some situations. Heavy loads, heavy towing or rough work including large articulation the bags can dislodge and in bad circumstances pop.

      That's where springs can save you.

        My appolgies, I should plugged techstream in prior to making that statement.
        I am sure you gathered what I was articulating.
        Change shocks, - no issues

        I would have imagined - shocks missing would throw a dash light lol
        Anyway there you go I was wrong.

          Good points, Any links to this happening just want to see if there any contributing factors to look out for
          My shock lenghts are well within airbags mans maximum recommended length ( 625 open ) BP51s are 608, I don't have any intentions of over loading it

          In that there lies the issue of rating springs for heavy loads as unloaded the ride is average and also limits articulation, my brother has this exact issue in his 150. Set up to go camping / 4wd rear End is great, Day to day rear is way to stiff

          Each to there own, I feel the self levelling rear is well worth retaining

          I get what your saying but if limiting possible issues in the bush was paramount the 150 Prado is the wrong 4wd.

            Thanks for the thread, it helped me a lot! By the way, which springs do you guys use? I need a suggestion on a spring manufacturer as I don't know much about it, I have to say. My friend usese some custom springs uk, but I would appreciate your help a lot
