  • TJM T13 Outback bull bar price

    Hi Gents
Been reading up all the posts about bull bars trying to decide which one. After all the reading I'm thinking of getting a TJM for a new GXL Prado and I've got this price and advice from a local TJM supplier:
    T13 bullbar $2,078
    Colour coding $400
If I needed harness & fitting the price would be $3,037 in total.

He said no new springs are needed as the front end will only drop around 10mm without a winch , just get a wheel allignment 2 weeks after bullbar installed.

Just wondering if anyone knows if that pricing sounds right, or can I get a better deal if TJM run any yearly specials or cheap deals at any 4wd shows around from Sydney up to Port Macquarie? Thanks for any advice.

I'm also looking. I've been quoted $2195 for the bar, plus $170 for wiring, $540 for paint. Car is VX so has the fog lights.
Im pretty sure I won't be buying it.

I still remember when I got bull bar around 10 months ago, the TJM was quoted around 2800 fitted before negotiation. But the price probably has gone up, just like the capped service price..

Bar and Paint prices seem about right.
When i got mine the wiring was in the box and everything was plug and play. Just reused the original fog light harness.
the additional wiring price would be for a GX at a guess

Not to sway you in any way, but for comparison I got an ARB Duluxe winch Bar fitted for $1900, with $200 for colour coding (which I didn't get). That was at a 4WD show. The Alloy one was around $700 more. I have seen on here that TJM often do a deal at the show - either an awning or even a snorkel some times. Those shows are defiantly worth waiting for. Even if you get them to put on a pair of driving lights or similar...

I got my TJM T13 Outback in December last year. They had a special with $600 off the list price (fitted). I had already negotiated a price that was within $50.00 of the special as we fitted some fleet bars to some of our work cars just prior. The Bullbar was just under $2,000.00 fitted. They also had a special on TJM winches so I got one of those too. In the end the bar & winch was $1500.00 cheaper than the equivalent setup from ARB. I couldn't seem to get ARB to budge but maybe it just depends which one you go into.
