    I won't tie up this thread anymore with Jeep talk, after all it is a Prado forum! But I will say my mind it basically made up on not Buying the new Prado. Unless I'm pleasantly surprised when it's officially launched here.

        On the increase to 3T that's great but I'm pulling around 2.5T at the moment and is all good on the flat but any hill and its game over, 130Kw just does not cut it, would hate to be pulling 3T up a hill.
        The GCM will be the same, so the max weight the 4 pot can pull doesn't change. Instead you just can't carry as much in teh car when 3T is on teh back, will suit horse floats and car transporters, but not tourers who need onboard weight and trailer weight.

          The GCM has apparently increased. Will await confirmation from official spec sheet.

                • Hi Guys does anyone with dealer access have the full spec or feature list for the GXL or I just have to wait for the official release.

                  • New model showing on Toyota.co.nz website shows towing 3000kg braked and 2990 kg gross vehicle weight. Looks like our vx losses kdss to the limited model only.

                    • Instead of 20 colours that nobody orders, why not have some sensible major options like: KDSS, 5 seats only. I would have loved a 5 seat GXL with KDSS (and perhaps more seat adjustment).

                        • Looks like there are no manuals in NZ. It only mentions the auto. 2500kg towing was still listed in one spot and under accessories also still shows 2500kg towbar but main page with specs shows 3000kg
