New Face lift late 2017 build

Looks like photos have been leaked, never any guarantee they are real but here is a Pic

Looking at the current version of tech stream the other day there was a date Option for the GDJ150, before 8-17 or after 8-17 so many production will start next month

Only until the capped price servicing runs out... then it is $560 to $1200 a service

These pics have been posted a week ago on this thread.
I like the look of it but will all come down to price and model range inclusions for me.

Looks like a face lift to the face lift model, with probably another electronic gizmo that we coped without with before.
          Same body new front.
New 2015 150s GX 5 seater with floor mats, towbar and a big wish list
Previously a 2004 120s 1KZ GX silver manual with stuff
before that a 1996 RV6 90S with lots of gear

I'll wait for the new Ranger and other ute updates before I commit to another Prado.

I spoke to a toyota dealer who was displaying Prado, landcruiser etc at a caravan show yesterday. He said he's had heard a new facelift model was in production in September with a possible showroom date of November in Australia. As for specs, he said normally the media get first look at those a couple of weeks before the official launch then dealers get specs about a week later. Very very secretive he said.

tossing up between a ute or Prado, not something you see often
The wild tracks are good value if your happy to deal with ford.

I posted it on the 150 section and got moved here.
It's interesting another facelift but I guess it's all about $$$$

If you can put up with the idiosyncrasies of a ute. Ride, seating, position, access... certainly I noticed more dual cabs pulling blocks of flats than 200s. Most overloaded.

the only Ute I would consider buying to a Prado would be the Patriot 200 series super tourer, but at nearly the cost of 2 Kakadu's it's hard to justify

Just did a central trip with 3 other utes. Watching their backs bouncing all over the place and then seeing the amount of dust that gets in to everything (even with a canopy or lid), I'm happy with my wagon. Saw plenty of 200's towing stuff.

I had a 79 series for 6 years, loved it but you can't compare ride to any decent wagon, Leaf rears can flex but they also love to axle tramp it's just a trait of leaf suspension.

You can definetly set up a ute to be an awesome tourer but like anything to be awesome in one field it will be not so flash in another ie. touring v everyday
I had the 79 for work / 4wding and the Prado is the family day car / tourer. There was no way the mrs would have a ute as her daily.

Yes interesting H2!?? Maybe an option for better fuel econ... I notice the 2 spare buttons on right hand side are reserved for centre diff lock and rear diff lock on the Japanese spec.

Driving 2 or 4 wheels makes almost no Evonny difference. The direction the wind blows makes more of a difference.

Unless the hubs are free wheeling (not these days with 100kmh shift in the fly) you still turn all the extra axels and diffs in h2.
