      Hey mate!

Are you referring to the roof rails? I haven’t done so but I’m 99.9% sure they are the same across all the 150 series models.

I've got one and like it. It doesn't add much to the length of the car and greatly improves the approach angle over the standard bumper. It's hit quite a few roos - the ones that hit the main part of the bar have been fine, if you search around Pradopoint you'll see the results of me hitting a roo a bit higher up at the light mounting cross member - it bent the bar & broke the grill but the car was fine (and I drove around like that for something like 6 months while the local AFN dealer stuffed me around).

I have created the following simple 2 question form (with additional optional questions) to get an idea of what people are getting their 2018 Prados for.

            https://goo.gl/forms/ZkPgFK4gA2tLKSgG3

The live results can be found here as people fill out the form for everyone to see:

So if you have gone and enquired or bought a 2018 Prado, let us know the price you got it down to, and if you're like me and looking to buy, hopefully this little database will help your negotiations.

I have also posted this in a few FB groups.

            Thanks

p.s I have taken the liberty of collecting some of the info already posted in this forum, a couple of pages back now, so if you have mentioned your purchase here, I might have already added it.
hi all Prado owners, just purchased the 2018 Prado GXL Flat tailgate with Leather pack today, drive away price $65,888 in ACT Feb/2019. The detail specs could be found in the above google docs.

Heaps thanks to aronm, the price list provides lots help in negotiation. The moment I show them the price list and tell them my price is definitely doable, manager stopped haggling immediately.

P.S. I refused the manager’s request to giving him the price list so that he could explain to his supervisor why he gave me the car in a “big loss”. I told him this list is from Internet and hopefully Toyota Australia will never find it.

Basically happy about the car and just wait for delivery. Salesman says there are many flat tailgate stock in Australian so it should not be too long.

            • Any recent price data on 2019 VXs? I was provided a written quote of about $69,900, which I thought was a good deal, but wound up to about $72,500 for a standard metallic. So based off the spreadsheet data here, I wasn't amazed. A month away from the end of financial year, wondering if something better will arise. Any feedback or thoughts?

              • Japanese financial year ends in March so no great deals to be had with our EOFY

                • It would appear there is some degree of better deals with the EOFY, with many Toyota dealerships running below retail specials. But maybe it's just a crafty ploy to attract buyers. Hopefully I'll have a better understanding soon.

                  • $70400 VX auto with towbar, mats, tint, and 150L. Was offered Crystal Pearl for no extra as they had one in stock but I prefer plain white and am happy to wait a little longer for it. Brisbane. Wanted nudge bar as well but LCT made that an unreasonable cost IMHO.
