Letting everyone know about a great roof rack I recently purchased from Aussie Auto Part Accessories from Campbellfield, a nothern Melbourne suburb. It's a Fully Enclosed Deluxe Alloy Roof Rack 2200x1250mm for $495, less $50 discount for paying with Paypal on ebay. It appears to be well made, was well packaged and there is little or no wind noise. There is a convenient space under the front to mount some LED lights which I have done, see photos. This was done using existing predrilled holes in the rack. The only downside was the rack took about 9 hours to install including removing the existing roof rails. There are 2 items to install, the base which attaches to the existing roof rail holes and the cage which attaches to this. Very fiddly installation of cage as not a lot of space to work in, between the roof and the rack to do up nuts. But, aside from the difficult installation, very happy with product!

Looks like it bolts directly into the roof using its own frame like the ARB rack.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

HI Wisewon.
any chance of some more pics of how the rack bolts to roof and the brackets used?
Is it a laser cut and pressed steel one piece bracket or 6 individuals?
any tips now you've don the hard yards fitting? ie more people or specialised tools that may reduce the fit time? seems crazy these days, you couldn't run a business fitting them if they take a full day.
cheers
