    Stock Radio Mod

    Greetings all,
    I just got a 2006 120 having sold my 2002 a few years ago.
    Can't leave them alone lol.
I just wanted to know if anyone has used one of these to give their stock radio USB and aux input capabilities?

Any feedback if you have done this upgrade?
I have a toyota pioneer amplified head unit that sounds decent so I simply want to access music from my USB sticks.

    Thank you

This is the radio here https://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_G_20...PETQ_8601.html

I wanted to make sure that the connection is the same before I purchased the adaptor. Anyone know what adapter the back of those pioneers use?

Thanks a million. I've learnt a lot from this forum over the years.

    Thank you

Mate I dont think its due to nobody wanting to reply, its basically I'd say like myself that nobody has actually seen those before, nor fitted one.

You might have to be the guinea pig on this one.

Most members here are more responsive 'after' the fact, on most posts, is my finding anyway.

Good luck, hope to see a result.

I think most people would simply upgrade to an newer Toyota OEM stereo that usually has USB and Bluetooth. You can get some units for less than $100 on eBay and it's a simple fit
2008 Prado 120 GXL V6 auto. Stock...but slowly building it up

Can you provide a photo of the actual unit?
