  • Front Sway Bar/Stabiliser Link Bush split

With 10,000km on the OME 2" Lift (and 30k on the car), Broome Toyota spotted the LH front stabiliser link bush was split and offered to repair under warranty however I was heading to Perth.

Now in Perth and local Toyota dealer here won't repair under warranty because they say it's caused by the suspension lift. Have started talks with local ARB stockist but looks like they want to push back too...

So looks like I could be stuck in the middle where no-one will accept responsibility. Anyone have experience with this one? I'm thinking the lift shouldn't have put bugger all extra load on it. Changed the angle by a smidge, but the height is only ~20mm above factory!

It's possible that it got nicked or pinched during the suspension install. Pretty cheap to replace yourself. In other words, if no one comes to the party, don't stress out too much about it.
