Exhaust under gearbox problems?

Does anyone with the 4.0l v6 have issues with the exhaust cross over pipe hitting on stuff when offroad or is it only me?

Mine hangs a good 50mm below the gearbox crossmember.
Do i have a problem or normal?

Mine is also oval now ?

They are oval and that looks normal

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of spacing my gearbox crossmember up to lift the exhaust up a bit. It keeps hitting on stuff and has dints in it .

It is pretty tough. I suspect it has a double skin or is very heavy gauge. Easier to move the pipe than the gearbox cross member with the issues that could raise.

Sorry i meant put a spacer under the gearbox mount (between the crossmember and the mount)

So v6 owners can confirm their crossover pipe is lower then the gearbox crossmember and is ovaled?

Yes. Yours looks absolutely normal.
