  • Engine error codes

Just looking to draw on the wisdom here a bit. I've researched the codes and know what their description is. More wondering are there any i need to be concerned about. it started with the car throwing the 3 dash lights a couple of times this week.

ABS C1201 engine control malfunction/EV control system
P0069 manifold absolute pressure barometric pressure correlation
P1251 step motor for turbo charger control circuit intermittent
P1604 - startability, i know this one is from me changing the 2nd fuel filter and a long crank
    P1605 - rough idle

so I have a chip it chip that has run no issues for over 15months, i did change the week before these codes to a K&N panel filter.

I have cleared them, if they return again i will remove the K&N and replace with standard panel filter again.

    any other ideas??

Maybe not what you want to hear, but I briefly had a Chip-It and got rid of it because of how aggressively it alters engine parameters to increase performance. It will create a lot of extra stress on engine components potentially causing early failure.. I would try removing the chip.

Yeah am looking to do that too. I have another thread going with recommended remaps in Brisbane or CQ for that matter.

Speak to Mick at macs fuel injection in Mackay. He knows d4d motor well, and can remap.
