Yes you were looking in the right place for the settings you need, if your unit makers have copied a Joying unit the password (from memory which isn't very good) is 126 As for hazard switch mine just reaches the left hand position but has to be plugged in just as the head unit goes back in to place. It may be possible to get a longer wire as there are plugs on each end.

Exactly as I found . I ve had an extended wire made up (extra 200mm) which is now long enough to install/remove unit without tugging on wires. I tried the 126 password but it was "wrong". Will try again tomorrow just to make sure. Sent off email to Dasaita for button ...see what happens.

I searched for Joying head unit password and a post from April 2016 says the "new " firmware uses 3368 so as mine uses 126 it must be pretty old!

Installed the TPMS add on today. Used the external sensors and they are pretty accurate (measured off two separate gauges). Has settings for high and low pressure and temperature. Cost was $75us. Also, from the latest ROM and Malaysk's ROM, I get a 5 second display of the air con settings when I press one of the buttons. Must be talking to the CANBUS.

After much struggling with a camera worrying that I would show my ugly mug in the reflection I finally worked out how to take a screen-shot Paddy. So I have attached this one just to show off!

                Looks good.
just digressing here, notice you have the hazard button installed. Did it come with the unit?

Yes Ciaran, the hazard button came with the unit. I had to unclip the wire connection from the back of the original one and re-route the cable to the left hand side. It just fits as John has previously mentioned. These units are designed for the European market, hence the hazard button being on the left hand side, closest to the driver. Have you sorted the door open indicator and updated to the latest ROM. Just checked and the latest ROM is from the 1st of this month and the latest MCU is V2.75 (MTCE), both can be downloaded from here:

Make sure your unit is a Dasaita/HotAudio [HA] (Dasaita) before updating. Also they changed the naming from a MTCD to the MTCE on the MCU updates.

                      Thanks paddyb
I thought this was the case. Unfortunately I received no button with the unit so I emailed Aliexpress and got a reply From a Danny Zhu saying that the button was not included with the purchase. He seemed to think that the original button fitted into the new unit. So sent some pics and some dimensions of the original button to show that there was no way that button was going to fit into the new unit.

Just wanted to make sure that the button is supposed to come with the unit.

seems I ve got a bit of a "rocky road" ahead. Hope I can sort it out.

Ciaran can you let me know the system you bought? Mine is a Dasaita and the number on the box is HA2127-V600. I have been dealing with Danny and found him to be very supportive with my requests. I am sure he can sort out any problems you may have. I can get in touch with him (if Danny is a bloke) and help on your behalf also.

Mine is the same unit as yours. I flicked him another email last night, just to clarify that its only the button I need and not the complete switch. I think this is what he might think I'm asking for.Click image for larger version

Danny sent me this pic he received from someone in Australia showing the switch fitted ( I'm guessing that's you) so I'm thinking he thinks I'm asking for the complete switch and not just the button.

I'm heading off to Yalata next week for 10 days so I'd appreciate that.
                          Thanks

Ok, got in touch with Danny, sent him a photo of the part and this was his response "Well noted and thanks for your information sharing, I will contact with him and solve the problem, Thanks".

Yes thanks for that. Danny sent me an email yesterday saying the button was being posted in a day or so. Wherehouse missed it when it was sent. I'm sure I'll see it when I return from my trip.

                                Hey Guys,

I’m just about to pull the trigger on one of these unit. I notice that some newer ones do screen mirroring. I assume that’s just a software update for the new android system. Does your dasaita unit do that? I have a Samsung phone so screen mirroring could be useful.
