Am new to this forum, and am excited to be part of this forum.

I would be really grateful if someone can help me with my query.

I have just got all my brake disc and pads replaced and paid almost $800 at a local brake shop.

Ever since, there's been squeaking sound, every time the brake is applied.

So, I went to them and they replaced the pads, saying that these new updated pad is having some issues of dust gathering between the gap of the brake pads.

But after replacing it, there are louder noise everytime I applied the brakes and reversing time is the loudest, sounds like a big truck braking.

Am starting to feel a cheap system was installed inspite of me paying a lot of money.

Can some members please help.

Where can one find the brand name of the pad or the disc?

Does the brand name determines the quality of the disc and the pads?

Replacing discs is unusual - almost always they are simply machined unless they are warped or too thin to be machined. You haven't posted in a specific model thread and didn't provide any details (90, 120 or 150 series?, how many KMs?). Help us to help you

To answer your actual question, new brakes almost always make a bit of noise while bedding in. You'll find they will be generic Bendix pads, unless you asked for something better, and there is nothing wrong with them. Have you tested them by applying the brakes like a roo just jumped in front of you? How did they feel and pull the car up?
