I' am looking at Redarc style gauges along with a drivers side SAAS pillar pod.
    Redarc Gauges

    SAAS pillar pod https://www.autobarn.com.au/pe54843

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Halsey

I think your pillar pic answers the question with the srs airbag sign on it.

this would likely compromise the airbag deployment me thinks.

That was my exact thoughts too.
Was just putting it out there in case someone has found a work around.
You would not want a couple of gauges coming towards your face at 100mph if the airbag was deployed in an accident.
I actually purchased a Tekonesha Prodigy brake controller only to find out I really didn't have space to fit it, ended up buying a Redarc Tow Pro with remote control (Prodiy will end up in sons 2015 Hilux).
Maybe I should have wrote has anyone installed two off 52mm gauges into their Prado 150?
Too bad no one has come up with the idea of hacking the centre console screen software so that you could read various sensors inputs such as exhaust gas temperature, turbo boost, 12 volt power levels etc via a custom screen accessed from the screen mode button.
I know you can download software to be able to read engine data via bluetooth.
      Actually this new product might do the trick;

those pods are fine to install , and will not interfere with the airbags in any way. if you remove the A pillar trim you will see that the very end of the airbag stops at the top of the pillar , so anything below the grab handle is well clear.

          Hey Halsey,
This little neat dual battery monitor from Solid Kit might negate your need for a big gauge like that redarc one. Fits neatly into one of the blank switch plates anywhere in your prado.
I had one installed recently and it's accurate and very neat!

            And about $150 cheaper xlr8_87
Have previously purchased the dual USB outlets from Solid Kit which work well, purchased USB covers from Jaycar for about $1 each to stop dirt falling into them while a lead isn't plugged in.
Would also like to install a exhaust gas temperature gauge.
