Does anyone know where the GPS sensor is located on a 2018 Prado GXL. My navigation page freezes with the unit doing an auto search for satellites? Toyota bullbar, and driving lights fitted (wiring for the lights was an initial problem as Toyota have changed the wiring loom in this model). TJM suspension lift, RV drawers and second battery also fitted. Just wondering if my modifications have interfered with the GPS sensor??

Hi Guys!!! Had problems with the gps in my MY14 VX that the Dealer couldn't fix. (reboot #1 and #2 then new head unit, still no go) trip to Hervey Bay dealership fixed the problem. Receiver unit was attached to rear firewall with the rest of the electronics which caused the interference. They relocated the receiver unit to the top of the instrument binnacle, just enough length of cable, PROBLEM SOLVED. Have updated to MY16 VX and having similar problems so will call at the same dealership on next trip to fix.
