Is the 2018 VX worth the extra over the GXL model?

This year we are upgrading the 1999 Prado Snowy to a new unit. I am about the see what other members have paid for their new Prado's. We are in semi retirement, have worked hard but not rolling in money - and are seeking good value for money.

Have a good look at the GXL [or even the GX]. Both will be so far in advance of what you have that you may not see the extra cost of a VX as worthwhile. Spend the money saved on any accessories etc

Look at the electronic gadgets you get extra with the VX... if things like auto wing mirrors folding in or blind spot warnings are worth it to you??
I bought the GXL with leather pack and I can say I'm not missing any of the VX features... YET

Oh... and I didn't want 18" wheels either.

Without KDSS, the VX is not worth the upgrade.
