A couple of new installs booked!

Well I have the snorkel booked for install on Monday and then 2 weeks later the Black widow drawers are booked for install.

Its all happening. I think these two things will probably finish off the mods for awhile now.

I'll add pics as I get them done

I've got a bunch of mods underway - all DIY. Hope to get them knocked on the head by Easter.

HF Radio (Amateur - Icom IC-7000)
HF Antenna Tuner (Icom AH-4)
HF Antenna (Benelec stainless)
UHF Uniden UH-015sx
UHF Antenna (RFI CD900)
Dual Batteries using Redarc isolator (ordered and paid - awaiting delivery)
Reversing camera and screen (half done)
Hella driving lights (half done)
Prodigy electric brake controller (done)
Aux feed to trailer fridge and battery (done)
Perm mounted 1st aid kit (done)
Perm mouned Maglite install

Phew! :shock:

Most of this stuff is still in it's boxes in my loungeroom. Work has been nuts busy - but worth it - our company finally signed off on a $50million+ order with the Commonwealth! Nice.

And I've got final Electrial Engineering exams on next week (fun, fourth year complex stuff) :evil:

Looks like I'll be a busy boy the next two weeks.

I'll also post some pics when I get done (prolly after the easter hols)

Why not install snorkel yourlelf ?

P.S. Don't forget to test it after install - put a plastic shopping bag over
the snorkel head while engine is running - the engine should stop if
install done properly.

You wont have much luck I suspect in finding a combined HF/UHF radio unless you have a seriously big wallet and an amauter radio license.

I havent seen any apart from Amauter radio ones.
