I just got a catalogue for Supercheap this arvo, they have them on special as of tomorrow for $249 until 13/6

That's a Brilliant Price, I got a set a while ago through a mate "at cost" and paid $275, about 2months before BCF started selling them for $279. Either money very well spent I reckon.

Here's an un-official... but posted with permission video of the new Maxtrax being used to bridge an Earthcruiser at the Glasshouse Mtns.Originally posted by Trekrider View PostThey did mention Ray's as well.
I just went back and bought a set of the MkII from Supercheap.
I have seen people in this thread saying how the MkII can be used for bridging as they have higher longitudinal strength. On the instruction sheet that comes with them it states "DO NOT USE on hard/rocky ground, for bridging, as a ramp or below -10 degree C". Where did the idea they can be used for bridging come from?
The advise from Maxtrax is still the same as currently on the website but...
...if you NEED to get through an obstacle I'd be giving it a go
Oh, and btw... I have seen a video of a certain member of this site cracking the ripoff version with his hands

Leon, good choice on the color. The Pilbara Red is by far my favorite color. I have a set of 'em and pair them with a set of Desert Tan.

For those in Perth still considering these, I notice there's a guy in Morley WA advertising a new set for $150-. I don't know him but if I didn't already have a set, I reckon I'd be taking a close look for this price.

Here's what I think is the evolution of Maxtrax...
{left to right} V1 MkI - V1 MkII - V2 MkI

Version 1 MkI

Version 1 MkII

Version 2 MkI

Re: Maxtrax
Makes you wonder... if SCA are making a profit by selling them at $236, just how much is the markup to the original price of $299.Originally posted by D4D
