Huh:
I am waiting for the new guard, the amts-Hanabal and the bracket! (although I do like Craig's version of the bracket which looks like it would sit better on the sportz bar. Are there any welders in SA looking to do a FREEBIE?

amtsOriginally posted by amts View PostI just rang RhinoRack HQ and asked a few questions regarding the Sportz and Aero bars:
1. The top channel can take a T-bolt (M6x25 - square head or T) or M6 channel nut inserted lengthways. (refer to http://www.rhinorack.com.au/AccSubCa...it_204_35.aspx)
2. There is no bottom channel between the leg mounts, only at the extreme ends.
I think I need to see one in the flesh. Wooley ?
I assume MLC has the 1140mm bars and if he wants to get a Rhino alloy tray which comes in at 1105mm, then it leaves bugger all room for anything at the side of the tray for anything.
as you know I now have 1350mm bars and wait patiently for you CAD and end product within the next 2 weeks.

They proved popular, when I went into the Brisbane rays stores first thing on the boxing day sale , there were about 6 sets at each store. They went fast and a great buy for the price.

I picked up a set from BCF today for the same price as Ray's ($216). I didn't want to drive to Ray's plus I had BCF gift cards to use. Asked the sale girl to price match - 1 quick call to confirm price and I was on my way.
One to keep in mind if your BCF store is closer than Ray's, I assume it would work both ways.
Happy shopping

Had to shut my mouth Dave. Your better have asked where to get them etc etc and then told me not to tell you! Talkabout conflict! She saying that on one hand and you saying you were gearing her up to get you a set. LMAO.Originally posted by sapradogxl View PostTypical, convinced the wife to buy them for me for Xmas, then she could have saved herself $50, and then bought me something else
Now, note to self, don't tell Dave what he is getting for Easter!

Good old Mum got me another set this morning from Ray's Outdoors Modbury for $217 bargan. Last set on the shelf. Now I'll have to adjust mounting to suit.

Spied the last set of MaxTrax on the shelf at Rays Outdoors today. I have a set already and I know if I came home with a second set I would now be a single man!!! (Mmmmmm????.....Na to expensive!) I rang a mate who hasn't got a pair and well, he does now. The set on the shelf wasn't in the box and asked a staffer if he had the lanyard and CD that came with it. He hunted hi & low without success. I said don't worry, it's such a good price, all is good. He then popped out the back returning with a small set of ratchet type straps that were out of their box and threw in a set of MaxTrax mounting Pins. (must of been the manager)
Gotta be happy with that! ( I'll be keeping the extras though for my finders fee
)

Thanks for the replies guys. It's good to know that they hold their value pretty well. I wouldn't mind getting rid of my set.

I have an unused pair of the new style that I would part with for a reasonable offer.
