I paid $250 for an unused but second hand set of the older style so I had 4 that matched, I was happy with that price as living in the bush I miss all the sales at SCA and the like, I actually had to pay more than retail for the first set I bought ($305) but I will never buy anything from tha store again!

    Cheers Andrew

Hi William. I had a set of the old type and put them on ebay when I bought the new ones they went for about $2151-220 cant remember the exact amount which surprised me as i had bought the new ones from SC in a 20% off sale for $236. This was when the new ones had only just come out so there was less awareness that there was a new model out.

Probably anyone looking for them now would definitely know there is an older and newer type. I started the bidding at 0.99 cents and just watched them. Ebay has surprised me several times in achieving prices I wouldn't have listed them for in a classified.

    Cheers
    Jason

I wonder how much maxtrax go for on the 2nd hand market. I mean... I'm thinking of getting rid of a set (version 1). Used it over a day trip... they're in great condition, zero damage. Any ideas?

That'd be a good price: I almost need a new set after yesterday, ripped off a whole bunch of lugs getting un-stuck.

Just got an email from Ray Outdoors saying they are having a sale on Monday and Tuesday and taking 26.5% off everything excluding fridges and bbq's. I hope maxtrax are included in this sale, that would make them $219 a set!

I think Santa might be bringing me two sets as I just saw the wife struggling with two large boxes and she said she didn't want help with them! A least we won't get stuck going up Teewah beach over Xmas now

Do you have a part number for the longer bars at all as I like the idea of the bit more overhang?
I just went through this exercise. The trick is to use the bars from a early Klugger with factory rails. . They are 1260mm long and will fit the the 120 series. Ring Rhino to confirm.
But instead I went the 1375mm HD bars as I also wanted the large Rhino basket, shovel holder and awning. But be aware the HD bars whistle a bit more. You can make them quieter with another rubber strip though.
