Some more pics.
There are studs on the bracket and the hi-lift goes onto the studs and held on with nuts.
Adjacent hole is for padlocking.
Hi-lift handle will need to be tied down somehow.
Hi-lift base should be out of harms way when opening the passenger door.
Quick fists used as a shovel holder.
This bracket is for 120 Prado with HD bars mounted directly onto the roof. Compatible with Maxtrax Mk1 V2 only.Last edited by amts; 18-10-2011, 04:54 PM.

I just rang RhinoRack HQ and asked a few questions regarding the Sportz and Aero bars:
1. The top channel can take a T-bolt (M6x25 - square head or T) or M6 channel nut inserted lengthways. (refer to http://www.rhinorack.com.au/AccSubCa...it_204_35.aspx)
2. There is no bottom channel between the leg mounts, only at the extreme ends.
I think I need to see one in the flesh. Wooley ?
I assume MLC has the 1140mm bars and if he wants to get a Rhino alloy tray which comes in at 1105mm, then it leaves bugger all room for anything at the side of the tray for anything.Originally posted by craigm View PostThis is why I scrounged around for the longer bars (1250mm as opposed to the 1140mm on the 120)

A day or two!? Geez Andrew, I don't know... You're starting to push this relationship...Originally posted by amts View PostOK, if you're not using it, I'd like to have it for a day or 2 to measure up.

Yes mate, I have a size problem. I do need to replace them with longer ones so I can also fit a Rhino rack. I am being told a 1200 x 1100(rough) Rhino rack wont fit. I dont want a skinny Rhino but dont want it 1500 either as I want to get out of the moon roof should the need ever arise. The whole rack thing is in the too hard basket for me atm.Originally posted by amts View PostI just rang RhinoRack HQ and asked a few questions regarding the Sportz and Aero bars:

For what its worth I will be putting a rack on the cross bars for easy release purposes as I park under a building that has 10mm clearance from the North-South rails.......Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!

Here is the design to suit the Aero/sportz bars by popular demand. Will fit 120 & 150 with Rhino Aero/Sportz crossbars mounted on north/south roof rails. Suits both Maxtrax Mk1 v2 and Mk2 and hi-lifts with 20mm hole pitch. I've only ever measured one hilift jack and assumed that the hole pitch is standard. Can someone confirm?

About 113mm
The centre distance of the cross bars are:
770mm for the Maxtrax Mk2
810mm for the Maxtrax Mk1 V2Last edited by amts; 20-10-2011, 11:53 PM.
