I would have thought Chuck doesn't need them - he would just lay in the mud and have the vehicle drive on him, with his abs as traction.

On a side note, I just checked the Maxtrax website and the camo ones retail for $499 a set - $200 more than the orange ones! Good on Maxtrax for contributing these.

Whilst I was there, I never knew all the different ones they produce. I reckon the blue ones look pretty good, but obviously not suitable for Australian conditions (Blue ones are rated for conditions up to -60C).

The camo carry bag is super cool too.

I'm a big fan of the blue.

I'm a fan of the blue also. Despite the abilityb to handle lower temps I think they also do the Aussie temps as well. I await to be corrected?

                        QUOTE]

I hear you, but I am not doubting Chuck. Obviously they are bad ass if he wants them.

I agree, Brad from MaxTrax has really gone above and beyond. We would have been happy for 1 set of "in-your-face" orange, but his generousity like the generousity of all the sponsors has been amazing.

I was thinking it must be because of my rugged good looks and tuff rig which makes sense of course, but then I realised, he hasn't met me nor seen my beast of a Prado, so I guess its the fact that these guys appreciate PradoPoint and its members. Naturally we should show our appreciation in return. Iv'e started by sending and autographed picture of me and my rig, oh and spending a sh&t load with them because I want quality products

                        mlc
                        (I didn't really send a pic, mainly because I don't have any )

Wait no longer...A quote from the MAXTRAX website on the Arctic Blue "Limited Edition". Note the "Not in Hot Climates bit"

"MAXTRAX Arctic Blue have been especially developed to work in extreme cold climates down to -60C. NOT IN HOT CLIMATES such as the Australian Outback."
