Thanks Sparksy,
I see what you did there and it was pretty creative. I made up some brackets to secure the inner guards as they would rub on the wheels once I got over 80-90km. It has not been a problem since but at some stage I would like to fit the correct parts. i will keep an eye out for a Prado being parted out that has a damaged bar and grab the plates.

there is also in following posts 25 and 28 a diagrams with dimensions for a bash plate to fit under bar to protect radiator.

Hi all, just joined this fantastic forum. I have had a 03 Prado for 18 mths (had 59k on the clock when I got it) and I just love it as much as it loves petrol. I now have a Toyota over bumper bullbar to fit and need to get the OEM bumper off to fit the brackets, can someone please tell me how to do this, Toyota instructions say the job will take 30 mins...think its gonna be longer than that! Thanks in advance, cheers Leigh

I am in the middle of fitting the bullbar and was wondering how those who went before me fitted the inner plastic guards. I am guessing that they get fed into the bull bar wings and then raise the bar up to mounting position. Is this correct? I am also assuming that there is no need to use screws as the guards are held captive in the bullbar wings. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi all,
I have been through the thread and tried all the links they don’t appear to be active any more.
I am fitting a winch to my 2003 Prado and need to fit the sovereign bar upgrade bracket kit and winch cradle kit.
Can someone please send me the removal and installation instructions so I don’t break something. Thank you.
Please email me at [email protected]

Just managed to pick up some recall brackets from a country dealer in WA for a better price being old stock $250 inc gst, along with that I have the winch 602 bracket and picked up a Carbon Winch 12,000lb winch and will fit later on the weekend or next week

Be Aware!
Post recall bracket set is not coming with the chassis pin sets and pins are coming with the fitting kit (PZQ296016ZFK) and around $135.00.
Regards,
Selvan
