  • Stainless steel snorkle

hey guys new member here. I bought my 120 last year and I’m finally getting around to building my own snorkle. Making it out of 4” tube (103mm). Does anyone have any photos of them fitted. I’d like to get a few ideas of how they have ran it and how much space there is inside the guard cheers.

Diesel or petrol? What size tube do you have access to? From memory I thinks most of the snorks are 75-80mm, 100mm might be getting tight by the time you add clamps etc and I would have thought that 100mm would be overkill. Probably best to pull the guard liner and mock something up. If it's anything like the 90's you will need to have a 90 bend forward of the wheel well into the engine bay, IIRC the Safari used the factory bend with a steel sleeve from the snork, so they were about the same diameter.

Probably worth looking at existing instructions if you haven't already done so. Here's the link for the Safari HF install: https://www.safari4x4.com.au/images/...ol-install.pdf
