Hi all, My first post as Ive just purchased a 2008 gxl prado and was wondering how to fit recovery points to the front as I have an aluminum toyota bull bar ( soverign bull bar I think it is )
The bull bar seems to use one of the mounting holes that the recovery bracket Ive seen need to use, from previous discussion maybe the 150 recovery bracket will work or maybe another brand of recovery bracket ?
I realise that there is some thought that the prado anchor loops which are welded on both sides of the chassis are super strong and would suffice but if possible I would like to get some rated recovery brackets, once I work out how to fit them with the presence of the aluminum bull bar ?
Also the gap between the passenger side of the radiator and the chassis is about 7mm so a bolt head may rub on the radiator, not a good idea.
Any help will be appreciated
images show the existing bull bar bracket attachment points with the hex bolt head in one spot required by the recovery bracket, plus the second hole above, which is lower due to the bull bar
